Jarael asks if she's infected, and Adasca explains that it only hits males, but he'll send a specialist to look her over. Adasca assures her that she brought Camper to the people who can save him. Jarael says that Camper rescued her when she was in trouble, and in return, she pledged to protect him, which she bitterly notes that she hasn't done a good job of it. Jarael sits down, worried sick, and Adasca comments that they appear to be very close. Camper is comatose, and they are about to begin treatments for an Offshoot, and they'll contact them once there's a change. After arriving in a plush room, he then calls Eejee, the cyborg Duros, who is in surgery with Camper, for a status update. Adasca says that they owe Camper, both financially and morally.

In Offshoots, it lays dormant until old age, and then triggers a series of worsening symptoms that's actually how Adascorp was able to recognize Camper for the bio-samples Jarael brought with her. During his work however, Camper contracted Balinquar's Virus,' which at the time seemed harmless. Jarael asks what Camper was like back then, and Adasca begins to sing Camper's praises the last of the truly brilliant Offshoot students to come out of the Academies before they were segregated due to disease, adept with both biology and technology, Adascorp hired him right out of graduation. Camper was not treated well, and Adasca is not surprised that he left. Adasca states that despite his own efforts in turning Adascorp into a force for good, in his grandfather's time, when Camper worked for them, there were those who were overzealous in their pursuit of advances. Jarael isn't impressed, and mentions that Camper used to talk at length about 'Crimes in the name of Arkanian science,' which Adasca doesn't deny he even mentions that Arkania's greatest cultural hero, Jedi Master Arca Jeth, used to say 'The only thing more dangerous than a foolish Arkanian is a smart one.' Arkanians celebrate innovation without bounds, which led to the creation of the Offshoots, and in turn the divisions in Arkanian society. Everything good in Arkanian culture, Adasca claims, is on this ship.

During the Sith War, the Legacy was meant at first to be a mobile company HQ, to avoid the fighting, but has since become a medical research facility, university, and even has a domed concert hall. In fact, the Arkanian Legacy began construction under his office, and was completed under his son, Adasca's father. As they walk through this pleasant setting, Adasca gives her some of Camper's backstory he did use to work for Adascorp when Adasca's grandfather was in charge. The Arkanian Legacy's atrium is quite beautiful and opulent, with an indoor fountain that sprays water several stories high. Adasca promises to explain on the way, and they take an elevator to the Atrium. Jarael is confused why quarantine? He was just coughing and fainting. Adasca informs her that Camper has been moved to an onboard quarantine room, and invites her to a place where they can watch his treatment via holo. Adasca tries to calm her down, but Jarael is still wary of him Adascorp is, after all, the company that Camper had been hiding from for as long as she'd known him.

Jarael then notices that Camper is gone, and demands to know where he is.

Lord Adasca promises Jarael that Rohlan will not be harmed if he doesn't harm anyone in return. While this is going on, several security guards try (emphasis on try) to restrain Rohlan, but Jarael vouches for him. Jarael, still disguised as a pureblood, is asked by Camper why she brought him to the Company before going into shock. The Arkanian Legacy has arrived at a deep space refueling station, and Camper is being rushed by the trauma team into a receiving room.
